Gen 6 already?
So when I saw this guy, I figured, "I could make that". I think I'll try the fox eventually, since he's my favorite of these new three guys, but there was just something about this one's design that I liked.

Happy Thanksgiving All!
I don't really have much to say other than that. I can't wait to eat turkey later, and I hope everyone has a good day today and a good supper tonight! I dunno about anyone else, but I am NOT leaving the house this weekend. I like to spend my holidays ALIVE, not getting trampled by greedy holiday shoppers who want to buy way to much for less and fight people over STUFF. Anyone who does decide to brave the storm of shoppers tomorrow (or tonight), be safe and all that!

Anyway, I'm off to go help cook and watch the parade.

(Later that day): Yay! Sonic was in the parade again this year!

...it always leads to personality tests. I'm not hugely into MLP (yet), but I've been looking at and reading about some of the characters lately and I think they're cute, and then I found this. That's actually the one I would've probably guessed I was most like, just from what I've seen of the new characters.

I actually really like her color scheme. I made a hat of her recently, but the yellow I used was pretty pale, so it looks more cream colored. And I think the hair looks good, just not exactly like hers. I'll probably post pics when I'm done, although I've seen way better crafts of these characters. I mainly did it as a challenge to see if I even could.

My Seventh Shiny Pokemon
Okay guys, so I always wondered what my seventh shiny pokemon would be, seven being my lucky number and all when it comes to shiny pokemon. And just about a month ago, I finally found it. I was going through Mt. Silver cave, leveling up my Lucario. Well, he had run out of PP for his moves, so I had switched to using my surfing Pikachu, since it was about to level up, and out of the blue, a yellow Onix appears! I nearly flipped my crap, since I just caught a Shiny Spinda when replaying ruby version about three months before. (Usually, I catch shinies about two years apart). So I switched to my Murkrow I happened to have with me (the same one I had caught the night before catching my shiny Drowzee a couple years ago), because the onix was lv.42 and pikachu was like, lv. 70, and the only move that would have damaged it was surf, which of course would have killed it. So I used Murkrows attacks, since I knew for sure they wouldn't kill it, and then got it low enough and threw a heavy ball. Caught it on the first try. I was so happy! I named him Miles since he's really long, and I didn't want to call him something stupid like "Goldy". So that's my story folks, now enjoy the pic:

Onix is Rolling Around, Exactly what it says.

How is he not destroying the PC and everything around him? I dunno, but here's a pic of his stats:

It would have to be frikkin Modest nature though...

Even more Scamper the Penguin lyrics
Sorry for the long entry, anyone whose friend page I'm on! My LJ cuts aren't wanting to work right now.

Okay, so I got a new TV recently, since my old one finally died, and it has a closed caption feature (since it's a new fancy one). So I finally learned all the lyrics to the Scamper the Penguin songs! ......except the whale song. It didn't have the captions for the lyrics and the talking, so it just showed what they say during the parts where they're talking over the song, so I still have no idea what they say in the middle, but I'll still post what I do know of it. But let me do them in order. Which one was next now...?

Let's Go Sliding

Let's go sliding, it's fun sliding,
Sliding on the snow.

Let's go slipping, sliding, dipping,
Faces all a-glow.

And as you fall,
Let's make snowballs,
Let the cold winds blow.

Let's go sliding, it's fun sliding,
Sliding on the snow.

Sliding on the sno~w!

*End lyrics*
I always liked that one. I thought it was catchy for whatever reason. And now I know all the words to it! And so do you! Yay!

If We Both Could Swim

Wouldn't it be nice, if we both could swim?
I would hold your hand in mine, and we'd jump in.

Wouldn't it be nice, to be down in the deep?
It's such a peaceful world down there, like everyone's asleep.

You bet it would, 'cuz if we could, we'd find something to eat!

*end lyrics*
Okay, so I don't actually know the titles to any of these songs, I'm just putting what I think sounds good. So theres that one. NEXT!

Don't Let 'Em Get Away

Don't let 'em get away, don't let 'em get away,
They're worth a lot of money, don't let 'em get away!

We gotta get away, we gotta get away,
Don't like it in the zoo, we gotta get away!

Don't let 'em get away, don't let 'em get away,
They're worth a lot of money, don't let 'em get away!

We gotta run and hide, we gotta run and hide,
They'll take us to the zoo and lock us up inside!

Don't let 'em get away, don't let 'em get away,
They're worth a lot of money, don't let 'em get away!

We gotta get away, we gotta get away,
They'll lock us in the zoo for the rest of the day!

We gotta stay ahead, we gotta stay ahead,
If they take us to the zoo, we'll wish we were dead!

We gotta get away, we gotta get away,
Don't like it in the zoo, we gotta get awa~y!

*end lyrics*
So I don't remember the exact order to this song, because there is so much going on in this scene, and there are large breaks in between each verse, as it shows all the chase scenes. But that's basically it.

Mr. Whale

Take us home, Mr. Whale,
You're a whale of a friend.
Let's get going, let's set sail
And then we'll pretend

That we're on an ocean liner,
Of our very own.
We've had a lot of fun together,
But it's time that we were headed home!

Take us home, Mr. Whale,
'Cuz we've learned lots of things.
All the good times, all the thrills

But it's time that we were headed home!

So goodbye Mr. Whale,
No matter where you go

It doesn't matter where you go,
No matter where you go,
There's nothing ?like that special evening?
When you're headed home.

It doesn't matter where you go,
North, south, east, or west.
Of all the ?places you can be,
Being home's the best?

??And even when you're growing
And ???
It's nice to know your family is waiting,
We're at home.

It's nice to know your family is waiting,
We're at home!

*end lyrics*
So this is my favorite song, and the only one that didn't have captions for the whole song! :( The other songs showed the captions for the song at the bottom, and the talking at the top if there was any. So if anyone know the rest of this, or can correct/confirm the areas with ?s, please do! I have been trying to figure out the lyrics to this song for years! Since I was little and used to watch this movie all the time! So almost 20 years, anyway!

So I recently bought the new Tama-Go Tamagotchi (I know it's probably a couple years old now, but it's still the newest one that's not Japan-exclusive). I got the black one with the Mametchi figure. I like the interchangeable faceplate feature of these, because I can make my own, since they're just made of paper. So that was one of the first things I did. I just didn't really like the one that came with mine. Here's a pic:
Custom Tama-Go, I got one of those new Tamagotchi Tama-Go things recently, and decided to make my own faceplate for it (since they're just paper). It has chao on it from Sonic Adventure. I really like how it looks!
It's got a couple Chao on it from the Sonic Adventure games! My tama was a teen in this pic, called Kilalatchi. But just a little while ago, he evolved into KuroMametchi! That was so cool, because I really wanted him! He evolved while he was asleep though(?), so I'll take a picture of him tomorrow when he's awake. I actually really enjoy going online to Tamatown with him, even though it's pretty kiddy and silly. It's somehow still a lot of fun to me.

I was afraid I wouldn't like this tamagotchi at first, but after a day or two, I decided I did. I do miss the job feature from the older versions, and the being able to buy and use items. But one nice feature, is when you're flipping through your food menu, it shows your character to the side, and if you pass their favorite food, it shows them cheering instead of their regular standing pose. I can only assume that it does something similar if you select their least favorite food (with them frowning instead?)

In other news, my v4.5 tamagotchi (the peacock feather one in my last post) is in the 3rd gen now (Shitekitchi was the first). It had turned into Horoyotchi for my gen2 adult, and for the 3rd, it had turned into UraMemetchi! Then I wanted to try to get Hanagatatchi by maxing out her gorgeous points, but she suddenly evolved anyway, even though I only had about 350! (Or 250, I don't remember). So that was the first time I ever got a rare character like that, so I love my Hanagatatchi! Anyway, I guess that's it for now, so for your viewing entertainment, I present my Hanagatatchi wearing a skirt!

hanagatatchi skirt, I actually managed to get Hanagatatchi on my v4.5 tamagotchi connection! Here's a gif of her wearing a skirt.

The Scary Shitekitchi
So I got out my v4.5 Tamagotchi Connection the other day. I haven't played with it in a while, and I just really love those things. I had bought it at our local Sears a few years back, before they closed down. It was on clearance for like, 6 or 7 bucks! And it has a cool peacock feather design, check it out!
Peacock Tamagotchi v4.5, My v4.5 Tamagotchi connection. I love the peacock feather design! It's got Shitekitchi on it in this pic.
It started out turning into the little star child thing (I haven't learned all the names yet). Then the next day it became an Ura Young Marotchi, which I think is sorta cute, but I like Crackertchi better, which I got last time I played with it. (Of course, he's a boy and my Tama this time was a girl). Then today, it turned into this creepy looking Shitekitchi. I actually kinda like it though. Apparently, some people think it's ugly or scary looking. Which, it's squiggly mouth did kinda throw me off at first. But I decided I actually kinda liked it. It's kinda cute somehow. Unless you press the C button. Don't do it.

picCollapse )

Oh god, I said don't do it!

Now she's really mad!Collapse )
Oh boy, I'm gonna see that in my nightmares.

Anyway, for today's viewing entertainment, I give you Shitekitchi wearing a hat!
Shitekitchi Hat, The Tamagotchi known as Shitekitchi. Shown playing with a hat. This is from my v4.5 Tamagotchi connection.
God I just love that surprised look in the last frame! I might have to make this my user pic sometime.

So yesterday marked the 9 year anniversary of me catching my Shiny Meowth on my Crystal version, and today marks 9 years since I caught my Shiny Houndour. As I was trying to catch a Houndour shortly after midnight last night on Soul Silver, I searched for 30 minutes, and only found 1 at first, and then two more showed up at the last minute. Two of them got away, so I only got one of them. So I started thinking, if Houndour was THIS frikkin' rare on the original, then I must have been just so unfathomably lucky to find a shiny one, AND have it not use roar on me!

How I ended up catching the shiny one was, I happened to have Flaafy out at the start, so I used thunder wave because I was too afraid of killing it to attack, and then I switched to my lv. 45 Flareon I had with me, and the Houndour was fully paralyzed! So I used a level ball. I caught it on the first throw at full health.

And now both of those original shinies are dead, because (as I said in my post about my Swinub) my Silver version battery finally died, and I had all three of my shinies on there.

Anyway, in other news, I finished my next Time Shifter plushie! (From Flint the Time Detective, if  you haven't been keeping up). I made Artie this time, since he was my absolute most favorite back in the day, and I LOVE how his eggshell pattern turned out! His little necklace thing looks so cute too, (and was actually kinda hard to do, but it worked out). Even the chisel thing on his tail turned out pretty good I think (although you can't see it too well in the picture). So all in all, I think he's my best one yet! Here he is:

Time Shifter Artie by ~Milayou on deviantART

I also made Orbit not too long before him, you can find her here. I like the background I made for her, I think it looks pretty good, although it's a little dark on this computer. I purposely made it that way though, because my monitor is too dark and I can't change it, so it might look normal to you.

And last of all, I think I know which one I'll make next, but you'll just have to wait and see! (And you can expect to see a shiny Houndour or Houndoom plushie before too long, hopefully. And maybe even shiny Meowth!)

More plushies OMG
Okay, so I mentioned in my last post that I was making plushies of Time Shifters from Flint the Time Detective. Well, here is my Dipper plushie. I'm finally done with him! And he was pretty complicated, although not really hard. He just had a lot of pieces. He came out pretty good though. Anyway, here he is:

Time Shifter Dipper by ~Milayou on deviantART

I already made Talen before him, and she turned out okay I guess. You can find her here. I would have made her a little bigger, but that was the last of that pink yarn I had. It was just an old skein I'd got from someone, and wasn't a lot to begin with, and I was just trying to get it out of my way by making something. And that was what came out. It was Red Heart lily pink, which I'm not even sure they make anymore, but if they do, I would have never found the same dye lot anyway, so I would have had to still use only that.

Anyway, I'm working on Orbit next, hopefully she will turn out good, although her feet might not look as great as I want them too, since I started out making her body a little too small. We'll see, anyway.

Feeling a bit nostalgic...
...so, this may be a dumb and arbitrary thing for me to remember, but as I was laying in bed last night, just about to fall asleep, it occurred to me that today would be March 9th. Why is this date significant, you ask? Well, you wouldn't know, because it's only important to me, but today marks 11 years to the day since I caught my very first shiny pokemon, which was a Swinub in the ice path. Unfortunately, my silver version's internal battery finally died a few months ago, so that pokemon, along with my other two, are gone forever. I did go and catch another swinub on my Soul Silver version today though, (a regular one, of course), to be a sort of spiritual replacement to my shiny one. I named it Silver, since not only was that the version I caught the original on, but also because a shiny one now days is silver. I caught another too, and named it Winupi, because I've got this new naming habit of picking a syllable from the first stage pokemon, and the first few letters of the evolved form, so (s)winu(b)pi(loswine). But I'll probably use Silver more.

I plan to make a plushie tonight of a blue Swinub, since that's what color a shiny one was back then. I'll post pics and the pattern too when I'm done.

On another note, I watched the entire series of Flint the Time Detective recently, since I never got to see all of it back in the day. I actually remembered a lot more episodes than I thought. Artie was always my favorite back in the day, although now I think it's got to be either Talen or Mosbee. I've even started making plushies of some of the time shifters (which was what the adorable monster critters were called), and I'm making Dipper right now. He looks like some kind of watering can elephant thing with wing ears, and I think he's actually turning out really good!

In other news, I finally got started on that pixel character blanket I said I was going to make a while back, although it's just a few squares right now. I'm going to make a few blank squares before I start cross stitching anyone. But I did get started, and that counts for something. I might post pictures of each character square as I finish them, but I haven't done the first one yet, although I think I know who it will be.

Anyway, I guess that is all for now.
